wanted to share a few from this little cuties session…

hard to believe we don’t have any snow this Christmas. Wishing we had some.
Merry Christmas!

this didn’t exactly come out the way I envisioned, so will try again but just in case I run out of time and to keep up with my post a day… here it is. :) peace!

got the tree up and decorated. I let R do most of hanging the ornaments…I was able to let go and not stress about where each ornament should go. After 3 kids, I don’t sweat the small stuff anymore. It was more fun to relax and watch him. He did a really great job too…I’ll post a photo maybe next week. Going to try to post a photo a day…we’ll see.

ps….don’t ya just love the Batman boots? I had Hunter boots all picked out and he spied those right at his eye level on the shelf and would not agree to anything else. He had to have those Batman boots. So much for a “styled” photo shoot. Later, while at the playground in our neighborhood park, he was a little nervous to go on the slide because a large “pack” of big boys (age 5 & 6) were all there as well, I assured him it was ok and maybe they could be his friends…just then, one of the “big boys” said to my little guy, “cool Batman boots”…i could have kissed that little boy. you should have seen the look on my little 3 year old’s face…it was beaming and as he marched up the steps to the big boy slide, he turned his little face over his shoulder to say to me, “Mom, my Batman boots are awesome”. When he is 18, graduating from high school, I will never forget those Batman boots.
or at least a week…well, i will try to anway. i’ve neglected my poor blog too much this year. I haven’t been able to capture a lot of images of my children as well. So, I’m going to start taking my camera everywhere with me with the hopes of documenting their lives much more. Would love it if you want to leave a comment to say “hi”.

we all want the perfect photo to adorn our holiday cards….sometimes it’s a candid moment in our little one’s life or sometimes it’s a formal portrait in our best clothes….whichever way we decide, it is a tradition and marks a special time in our lives. I never throw away my holiday cards, especially ones with photos in them. Here are a couple cuties that came in recently….
