and that is why I haven’t been able to post lately. It died 3 weeks ago and finally my new computer arrived. Been going through some photos from the last 6 months….been so busy with clients that I haven’t had time to look at my own. Came across this one…it makes me smile and i hope it brings a smile to your face as well.
His little baby voice sounded so cute when he said “trick or treat”. He did not like the fog machine that my middle son just had to run. His first experience with trick or treating was filled with so many new experiences, it was really fun to watch. He wasn’t quite sure of seeing the big kids with their costumes…but, thankfully, he didn’t see one that was too scary. He loved ringing the neighbors doorbell, he loved being able to choose his own candy and he would wave his chubby little hand to everyone when we said, “thank you”. But, I have to say, the night did not end well…after big brothers came home and tickled R at bedtime….he asked for some water, drank quite a bit, and then proceeded to throw up all over the carpet….no warning…just a big mess for me to clean up while Daddy put him in the bath tub. This morning, he ate a good breakfast of oatmeal and is back to his happy little self.
I felt so privileged to peer into the world of sisterhood with this shoot. My heart melted when I was doing individual shots on the younger one when the older sister came over and said, “R…I need to fix your hair a little bit” and proceeded to fix her hair clip. She did it in the most caring way too….not bossy or know-it-all type….only nurturing. How sweet is that?! With having 3 boys…their idea of caring for each other is to help each other with their blocking method in football….or they wrestle each other in the living room…….”sigh”.
